Lincoln County Career & Technical Education
The Lincoln County CTE Department is dedicated to preparing students for all 20 of the fastest growing occupations in the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Outlook Handbook. The program areas are Trade & Industrial, Agriculture, Family & Consumer Science, Health Science, and Business Technology.  Classes offered in the T & I Department are Welding, Electricity, Machine Shop, Auto Mechanics, and Drafting.  The Ag Department offers classes such as Advanced Principals of Agriculture, Horse Science, Hydroponics/Aquaculture, Ag Engineering, and Wildlife and Forestry Management.  The FACS Department classes include Culinary Arts, Teaching as a Profession, Fashion Merchandising, and Interior Design.  The Health Science Department offers Nursing, Rehabilitative Therapy, Clinical Internship, as well as an EMT class.  The Business Technology Department encompasses many different areas of the business world with Accounting, Interactive Media Presentation, Business Principles, and eBusiness Communications.  A new class in the Business Technology Department is Virtual Enterprise.  In this class students actually run a corporation.  A CEO is assigned as well as an accountant, a marketing team, production team, and any other positions needed by the particular corporation the students create.  They interact with other corporations in other Business Technology programs in the United States and Europe.  The CTE Department is very excited to add this class to our business program.  Students in the CTE Program are given opportunities through community service projects and CTSO activities to develop real world experience in leadership, public speaking, team work, and preparing for and giving presentations.
