Supervisor of Career Technical Education


Spring Brindley serves as the Supervisor of CTE (Career Technical Education).Mrs. Spring Brindley is in her fourteenth year in education. During that time she has had the opportunity to teach in both Tennessee and Georgia. After teaching two years in Georgia, she returned to Lincoln County Ninth Grade Academy and spent five years as an agriculture teacher, three years as Assistant Principal, and three and a half years as Principal.

Throughout her time in the Lincoln County School System, Mrs. Brindley has garnered numerous awards and recognition, including being one of 45 individuals nationwide in 2008 to receive the Teachers Turn the Key Award given by the National Association of Agricultural Educators. She has also been voted best high school teacher in The Elk Valley Times’ annual reader survey, named Lincoln County Teacher of the Year, Lincoln County Ninth Grade Academy Teacher of the Year, Luella High School Teacher of the Year and named to Who’s Who Among American High School Teachers. While under her leadership, Lincoln County Ninth Grade Academy was featured in US News and World Report as one of America’s Best High Schools in 2015.

A native of the Flintville area and Lincoln County High School Alumni, she earned a BS in Agricultural Economics and Business at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She went on to earn a M.Ed. in Agriculture Education from the University of Georgia and her Ed.S. in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University. Mrs. Brindley and her husband, Paul, are the parents of Emory Monea Brindley and active members in their community.
