Mrs. Margaret Campbell is the Title Supervisor and Special Education for the Lincoln County Department of Education. Mrs. Campbell is currently in her twelfth year as a supervisor. She graduated from Lincoln County High School in the class of 2000. Mrs. Campbell then went on to Motlow Community College to receive her Associates of Arts degree in 2002 and then obtained a degree from MiddleTennessee State University in 2004 with an emphasis in severe and profound special education. Mrs. Campbell began her first year of her career in education in 2005 at Flintville Elementary as a special education teacher in a comprehensive development classroom for Kindergarten through 8th grade students. Then in 2007, she moved into a special education intervention and inclusion teaching position at Flintville for kindergarten through 3rd grade students. In 2008, she completed her Master of Arts in Administration and Supervision degree from Tennessee State University. She began her current position as the special education supervisor in 2010. Then in 2013, she completed an Educational Specialist in Administration and Supervision degree from Middle Tennessee State University.

Margaret married in August of 2004 and moved to Italy where her husband, Jake Campbell, was stationed in the Air Force. When they returned to the United States they moved back to their hometown of Fayetteville. She feels her greatest accomplishment was in February 2010, when she became the mother Noah Campbell.

Job Description

The federal programs supervisor works with the director of schools and school administrators to assess academic needs and provide supplementary federal programs to help improve academic achievement and close achievement gaps among all sub-groups. She also works closely with the director and the personnel supervisor to ensure all employees are certified and highly qualified.
 
The special education coordinator interacts with other school administrators, faculty, counselors, psychologists, therapists, and other professionals who provide special education services to develop academic plans for students at the schools. The coordinator also performs a variety of administrative tasks related to policy implementation, compliance with legal regulations, and maintaining education standards.
