registration

Lincoln County Schools will begin Pre-K and Kindergarten registration for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year on Monday, February 26, 2024.  Parents will register their child(ren) at the school they are zoned to attend.  Pre-K parents can also register at Lincoln Central Academy.

If a child will be four (4) years old on or before August 15, 2024, he or she is eligible for the Lincoln County Pre-K program in the fall.  PreK seats are limited and registration does not guarantee enrollment.  Approval for the program is based on State guidelines and the order the registration documents are received.

Children that are five (5) years old on or before August 15, 2024, are eligible for kindergarten in the fall and should also register beginning February 26, 2024.

The following records are required to register a child in school: (1) proof of residency such as a driver’s license, utility bill, and another piece of mail, (2) a record of the child’s birth, (3) a current physical/health examination, and (4) up-to-date immunization records or a religious exemption form.  Pre-K students will also need a completed Income Verification Form.

Additional registration information is available at WWW.LCDOE.ORG.  Families needing assistance with registering a Pre-K or Kindergarten child can visit or call their zoned school or Lincoln Central Academy.  Parents can also find out the school zone of a county residence by contacting the Lincoln County Transportation Department at 931-433-5733.

Lincoln County Schools welcomes all registering families and looks forward to providing excellent educational experiences for the students of Lincoln County.
