Junior Pro Basketball Season is near! There will be a Jr. Pro Basketball Coaches Meeting at 8:00 AM this Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Lincoln Central Academy in the Gymnasium. A Jr. Pro Referee Clinic will follow at 9:00 AM.
Today, we recognize the importance of special education and commemorates the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in 1975. We are committed to providing equal educational opportunities for children with disabilities, and we honor the teachers and support staff in our building who ensure this everyday!
Ms. Carol Grant was recognized and honored by Board Member, Dr. Jimmy Daniel, as the Retired Teacher of the Month for December. Ms. Grant began her career in 1976 and spent 48 years at Highland Rim School until she retired at the end of the 2023-2024 School Year.
Dr. Jonna Owens-Lee and Mrs. Amy Bates were recognized as Teachers of the Month for November and December. Mrs. Misty Fitzgerald of Unity School was recognized as Support Staff Member of the Month. We are thankful for these ladies and their hard work!
Blanche students, Raithan Huenefeld, Abbygail Beasley, Hyrum Collins, Dalilah Lozier, Abigail Golemo, LCHS Junior Trevor Murphy, and the Lady Bulldog Volleyball team were honored for their athletic and academic excellence during the December School Board Meeting.
