Our Pre-K Team at Lincoln Central Academy was recently visited by the Assistant Commissioner of Early Childhood Education, Voluntary Pre-K Director, and others from the State Department of Education. Of all schools visited, they were one of only TWO programs statewide to receive recognition for their evidence of strong curriculum implementation, center alignment, and cohesive support. We are so proud of their work with our youngest learners! Great things are happening in Lincoln County Schools!

Congratulations to the LCHS Navy JROTC Academic Team, placing 1st in Area 8's NJROTC National Academic Exam, and competing against 80 regional teams from Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia. The team achieved a top-25 global ranking out of 2,600+ teams.

LCHS will hold it's Annual Herman Hardin Alumni Game on April 24th at 6:00pm. All proceeds will benefit the future Herman Hardin Scholarship recipients. Contact Shelby Hardiman (shardiman@lcdoe.org) for more information!

Farm to Sea Camp will be offered at LCHS this summer for rising 8th and 9th graders! The camp runs June 22–26 from 8:30 AM–2:30 PM daily . Only the first 30 applicants will be accepted, so apply now!

Congratulations to these students from Lincoln County High School for achieving PERFECT SCORES on their recent end-of-course testing in either Algebra I, Algebra II, or Geometry! What an amazing accomplishment!

Both the combined middle school band and LCHS Band received a Superior rating today at the Tri-Lakes Band Directors' Association Concert Festival today! Great things are happening in our Fine Arts across the District!


February is Career-Technical Education Month in Tennessee! From construction and culinary to computer sciences, health sciences, and agrisciences, Lincoln County offers these programs and more to prepare today's learners in becoming tomorrow's leaders! Many of our graduates will hold industrial certifications and the opportunity to have additional, tuition-free education or enter advanced salaried job positions due to the high-caliber of our programs in Lincoln County Schools.

Happy Bus Driver Appreciation Day to all of our school bus drivers, as well as the aides, mechanics, and office staff who help ensure the safe transport our students daily! We appreciate each one of you!
